I haven't been to the presentation, but had a thorough look at the book in the Selexyz bookshop (Passage, The Hague) after having heard of it in O.V.T. (VPRO, Radio 1) and having seen some of your pictures on the web. Had the intention to buy the book, especially because of your kind of kind pictures of The Hague's Chinatown, some with interesting views like those looking out of a shop window.
BUT I didn't like the paper on which they were printed - that should have been more glossy!
Also the text of the last chapter was more of a city promotion talk than giving insight into the Chinese community (although in a sense it did just that).
I really do hope your new book to which I AM looking forward is printed on paper that does justice to your pictures!
